Trade fleet crews operate with much more autonomy than the rest of the transport group, As they travel the outer reaches in search of rare commodities and artefacts that can be traded for profit or made use of by Vault-Tec.
Trade fleet members will need to become very familiar with exploring the markets and cross comparing with commodity prices in far flung systems.
